Numbers 4 & 65 have now been crossed off the list. I was so excited to have finished the baby blanket in time for the birthday party, that I wrapped it up and handed it to them before I thought to take a picture of it! So you’ll have to trust me when I say, it turned out beautifully! I was quite proud of it. And myself for actually FINISHING it! Yeah, it’s a year later. But I did it. I can’t tell you how many half-finished projects I have kicking around here. Or that I’ve finally given up and tossed over the years. Way more than I’ve actually finished. I don’t know if it’s a short attention span, lack of organization, total inability to follow something through – or probably a combination of all three. I’m really trying to overcome that. I don’t start very many projects anymore, because I’m really making myself commit to finishing what I do start.
And it feels SO good to FINISH. Like a big weight off my shoulders.
The on-line photo album was just a matter of going thru the process. Now that it’s up and running with currently three sub-albums, its just a matter of adding to it monthly. I used to do one years ago. Once I had it up an running, it was just a few hours every month to update and maintain it. So now that it’s going, that’s most of the effort.
Yay!! I need to cross more of mine off.
