In a few short hours, I’m winging my way East to New Yawk City, home of inferior salsa. I’m being accompanied by my mother and oldest daughter. We’re calling it a business trip and attending two days of Toy Fair 2009. But it’s also a celebratory trip and that’s why Cali’s coming along. It’s her 18th birthday and graduation present (a little early, but hey, it works.) She is beyond the moon excited (and so am I!)
I’m not bringing a computer, so I won’t be posting updates from my trip. Honestly, we’re going to be so busy I wouldn’t have the time or energy anyway. I’ll be taking approximately a billion pictures and I’ll take notes during my trip so I can blog a recap when I’m back in good old California!
Have a great week everyone – and Happy President’s Day!
