Ok, we don’t always go to this particular pumpkin patch.
We just go to A pumpkin patch, you know, annually. Anyway…
Sean went nuts when he saw this giant tractor; it’s all he talked about the rest of the day.
Tad pointed out how cushy the interior looked, he would probably put spinner rims on it too. Skye said “oooh, birdies!” and ran off to chase some crows.
What is it about a giant mountain of hay that kids just love?
The kids couldn’t wait to climb to the top and then hop down… and then climb up again.
Giant tower of hay could solve the countries obesity epidemic!
Sean is doing his impression of a ghost, you can practically here him saying “Boo!”
Skye believes ghosts smile pretty for pictures.
The baby chickens, though I’m pretty sure these ones were teenagers. Not quite as small as chicks, not as big as full grown chickens. They mostly just laid around, squawked a lot and fought with each other when they weren’t pecking around for food.
Yep, definitely teenagers!
Stealth shot of Tad the Teenager. I laughed maniacally after snapping this one.
Cause that’s how I roll.
That orange t-shirt is Sean. Head first down the slide.
Pretty much his approach to life.
And there’s my princess, catching some major air.
Totally her approach to life!
What were we here for? Oh yeah, PUMPKINS!
Ok Kids. Mom wants a picture of you in the wheelbarrow with the pumpkins. Why? What kind of a question is that – just get in the wheelbarrow. If I buy you popcorn will you get in? Great!
Little He-Sean insisted on pushing the wheelbarrow.
He made it about three steps before he almost dumped our pre-jack-o-lanterns.
Sorry Sean, Tad the Man had to take over.
Skye’s criteria for pumpkin picking was “can I fit in it?”
Tad searched and searched until he found a green pumpkin. Why?
Because he’s Tad, that’s why!
I got this cool Dremel pumpkin carving tool for the kids to use. It’s not really great at pumpkin carving, but this picture would have been much scarier if Sean was holding a knife!
Yeah, pretty much like this one! Tad, uh… STOP!!!
Skye’s work of art. Yes, it has eyebrows. That is attention to detail, baby!!
Tad was too exhausted after cleaning out his green pumpkin to carve it. “Hey mom, did you know that green pumpkins are harder to clean out? It’s like it’s not ripe or something.”

My kids are dyin' to go to our patch! Yours looks like more fun though…don't tell!
