I suffer from insomnia. Have for as long as I can remember. It’s not a problem every night, just enough to be annoying. I usually take an Advil pm sort of as a pre-emptive strike. Usually that’s enough to do the trick. However, last night it proved to be more stubborn than I am – and that, my friends, is damn stubborn.
I read. I took a hot bath. I read blogs. I surfed around Facebook. I watched Oprah. Nothing seemed to work. It’s now 4:30 am. I’ve been awake since about midnight (I fell asleep at 10, just as Horders on A&E was starting. Double damn. I love that show!) My alarm is set to go off in 2 hours and 15 minutes. I’ve got a work out to do. And now I’ll have ZERO energy for it. Triple DAMN!
I did, however, manage to accomplish a few things. One of which is a new Grab-It button over in the side-bar there —->.
Isn’t it purty? Go ahead, help yourself!
I’m working on a mock-up of an all new, totally different design that will finally reflect the real vision I have for this site. I’m going to be working with a blog designer cause this is a bit more advanced than my Blogging for Dummies book covers. Or at least, as far as I bothered to read.
My eye lids are finally feeling heavy. I’m thinking I might try to catch a few zzzz’s before the sun rises.
Nitey-nite all!

Girl you better have got some zzzz’s! After all that and you still missed horders? What a shame!
Oh the sleepless nights… how I know them.
Ever considered trying herbal teas? I take valerian sometimes, and it helps. Calms me against the infernal alarm clock.
Try it with chamomile.
And try not to let worrying thoughts creep in.
Have a good rest.
