I am Tiffany, a 39-year-old single mom of five. Yes, five kids, not pets. I don’t do pets, I have enough kids. Don’t even get me started on houseplants.
I love those aforementioned kids, Junior Mints and Brendan Fraser… not necessarily in that order. It depends on the day. And if the Junior Mints are frozen.
I also have a soft spot for Coke Zero. And by soft spot, I mean severe addiction. I expect to hear from A&E anytime now.
I have a deep and abiding respect for Donna Reed, June Cleaver and Lucy Ricardo. Any woman who can vacuum in heels and pearls with perfect hair and make-up is balls out awesome! I would love to be the mom with the plate of warm cookies waiting for my kids when they get home from school. Unfortunately, what with the kids growing accustomed to electricity and indoor plumbing, momma gotta bring home the green. I’ve spoiled them, really. It’s my own fault.
I WAS training to run in the Paris Marathon on my 40th birthday, April of 2010. However in January, I was sidelined by stress fractures in both legs. This has bummed me out to no end. It is not the end of my goal to 26.2 miles through the streets of gay Paree. I am more determined now than ever to run in the 2011 Paris Marathon. I have a training blog HERE, though it’s pretty depressing right now.
On a happier note, I write movie reviews over at Imperfect Women. You can find links to all the movie reviews I’ve done so far on my Cinemarific page.
